My Messy Human Life
Welcome to my messy human life. This part of the blog is where I write about life from my perspective. I want to share with you not only the ups and downs of life in general but also the struggles and successes of living with a chronic illness, anxiety and peri-menopause.
Too many times I have fallen into the comparison trap about how I live my life and how others expect me to live my life (I’m looking at you social media commenters, and you the British Government). Trying to live up to standards that are, lets be honest, not realistic, everyday life is exhausting and I’m already suffering with fatigue!
Whilst I am navigating chaos that may not be unique to me, I have my own abilities, dreams and goals, struggles, stresses and barriers that make me a unique individual. That means there is not a one solution fits all approach that would make my life ‘better’.
I’m going to be trying different approaches in the quest to manage my conditions, hopefully implement some healthier choices that increase longevity and wellbeing and spend a lot of time learning about myself.
So I am going to write about what is important to me as I create a more fulfilling life for myself. I am hoping, in my words, that others find some solace as I struggle, wisdom as I learn and hope despite the chaos and imperfections in life.
